Plan to make a road trip with your toddler in tow? My advice is to bring along musical toys along for them. They are considered one of the best toddler toys around as they will help toddlers, and even children, from becoming distracted and bored on the road.

Forget about using sceneries of the countryside or playing your favorite country music because children do not care for such stuff. The one thing which will guarantee to keep them occupied and having fun for hours are toys. But don’t get them noisy toys with blinking lights they will be very distracting for you. Get them some fun but educational ones.

I mentioned earlier that musical toys are one of the top toddler toys and for good reasons – babies adore music. Musical toys, such as those singing and dancing dolls from Disney, are fun. But when you go to a toy store, pick one which is really entertaining. It does not matter whether you plan to but a tiny piano, toys which have drums and sings or those which teaches the alphabet, the important thing to remember is – it must be entertaining for your child!

If musical toys are not your cup of tea, then the next best toddler toys to get would be, in my opinion, building blocks. Block sets help kids on motor and cognitive kills as they use their hands and eyes to play with the blocks. It trains their handling skills and eye coordination. However, do not get blocks which are too small as they are really a safety hazard for your todddlers as they might shallow them.

Another type of toy which some of my friends consider as "best toys for toddlers” is the type which lights up when touched. Yes, they are touch sensitive and when a kid touches different parts of the body, it will light up. Some kids like this kind of toys. I have never bought those buy my friends claimed they work wonders for the kids.

A colleague of mine even considered teething rings as best toddler toys. I am not sure about that but it might have worked for their kids. There’s no harm in trying though if you get a good one.
